Shrieking wild
Crow and owl
Brutal hollow
Brutal scowl
Mighty thews
And reeking loins
Empty gullet
Hunger's growl
Oak and ivy
Moonless night
Hunting children
Feast on fright
Seek red flesh
On which to dine
Crunching bone
And snapping spine
Wood and stone
Reap victims fresh
Divide the flesh,
And splinter bone
Skull from spine,
His goblet grim
From sundered limb
He pours he wine
Rank with blood
His odor foul
Man and child
Fill his bowel
Great and dark
The hollow wood
The endless empty,
Endless prowl
